Greece’s leading exhibition event for Construction Machinery attracted strong interest from the visitors, drawing professionals and experts from across the country.
Featuring top-tier exhibitors that showcased the forefront of Construction Machinery and Construction Site Equipment over three days, the 3rd ERGO.TEC exhibition took place on March 20–22, 2026, at the MEC Exhibition Center in Paiania, Greece, impressing both exhibitors and visitors with its growth. Building on the foundations laid by the two previous editions, this year’s ERGO.TEC evolved from a promising initiative into a stable point of reference, proving that these foundations were strong enough to support and elevate the industry.
The success of ERGO.TEC was reflected in the high quality and wide range of exhibits, the partnerships and business connections formed, as well as the rich and upgraded program of parallel conference events. Notably, several exhibitors and conference participants have already renewed their participation for 2028, while the exhibition also secured the vote of confidence of even more companies in the sector, which have decided to participate for the first time in 2028.
The Opening Ceremony
The strong presence of the leadership of the Ministry of Infrastructure & Transport, along with representatives of local government and industry bodies, at the exhibition’s opening ceremony on Friday, March 20, 2026, confirmed the importance of ERGO.TEC for the construction sector. The exhibition was officially inaugurated by the Minister of Infrastructure & Transport, Mr. Christos Dimas, who represented the Prime Minister, Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis. Opening remarks were also delivered by Mr. Nikos Tachiaos, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure & Transport responsible for Infrastructure, and Mr. Dimitrios Damaskos, Vice Governor of Eastern Attica.
Also in attendance, delivering greetings on behalf of the supporting industry bodies under whose auspices the exhibition was held, were:
- Georgios Syrianos – President of STEAT (Association of Technical Companies of the Highest Classes)
- Zacharias Athousakis – President of SATE (Panhellenic Association of Technical Companies)
- Konstantinos Goliopoulos – President of PEDMEDE (Panhellenic Union of Certificated Engineers Contractors of Public Works)
- Georgios Ntoulis – President of HELLASCO (Hellenic Association of Consulting Engineering Companies)
- Nikolaos Iliopoulos – President of OXMEE (Federation of Construction Machinery Operators of Greece)
- Dr. Andreas Stoimenidis – President of OSETEE (Federation of Technical Enterprises’ Employees’ Associations of Greece) and President of STYE (Association of Technical Employees of Greece)
- Ioannis Bertsatos – President of HELLASCERT (Hellenic Association of Accredited Inspection and Certification Bodies)

ERGO.TEC Forum 2026
Dozens of delegates had the opportunity to highlight every aspect of cutting-edge issues regarding Construction Machinery during the parallel three-day ERGO.TEC Forum. Within the framework of the Forum, the 2nd Construction & Machinery Conference (CMC) also took place, with market leaders moving beyond theoretical analysis to delve into practical solutions for the modernization of construction and infrastructure. The Forum was honored by the participation of Mr. Nikos Tachiaos, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, responsible for Infrastructure issues, as well as exhibitors, entrepreneurs, industry professionals, representatives of organizations, academic institutions, and students.
